The Southern Nevada Health District has reported its first flu-related death of the season, involving a man in his 80s from Clark County. Reports of respiratory and influenza-like illnesses in the community remain minimal, yet seasonal flu activity is increasing as the peak flu season approaches, typically occurring between December and February. According to the health district, 17 influenza-associated hospitalizations have been reported in Clark County. Vaccinations are encouraged for everyone
