Aachen is a great typeface. It's been a go-to of mine for a bold chunky serif style along with Egyptian Extra Bold Condensed for many years. Out of the gazillions of typefaces that exist in the world there are really only a handful that I find look good on signs. Find a few letter styles and a design philosophy that works for you and your customers, and that will suffice you for your whole career. Of course always keep pushing and experimenting but dont feel that you have to be a "design chamele
