The Miss Budweiser were 22 hydroplanes sponsored by Budweiser beer that raced in the unlimited class under the U-12 banner. They were owned (some were leased backups) by Bernie Little . Anheuser-Busch sponsorship began in 1963, [ 1 ] thanks to the friendship of Little and A-B president August Busch III .

Despite his many victories and record performances with the Miss Budweiser, Little considers his greatest triumph to be the development of the enclosed capsule. In November of 1989, Little was honored for his commitment to safety by a grateful American Power Boat Association.

With Chenoweth driving, on August 5, 1973, MISS BUDWEISER achieved her greatest fame by defeating arch-rival PAY 'n PAK in Heat 1-C at Seattle to become the first boat to average better than 120 miles per hour in a heat of competition.

At 14’3" wide and 29’6" long, the Miss Budweiser weighted in at over 7,000 pounds, making her the biggest, heaviest boat of her day. Her honeycomb aluminum construction made her extremely strong, and her radical design made her fast and stable.

In 1977, this Miss Budweiser won three races on its way to the APBA National Championship with a remarkable season in which she completed all 28 heats she started. In 1978 Ron Snyder took over the driving duties, winning one race.
