Welcome to McCaskey High School! Our vibrant school community reflects the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of Lancaster. At McCaskey, we are dedicated to ensuring that every student is academically and emotionally prepared for college or the workforce.

As a Comprehensive High School, McCaskey is one of the few high schools in PA to offer PDE-approved career technical education (CTE) training programs that lead to industry certifications and offer articulated credits at dozens of state colleges.

The Student Handbook is designed to help students become acquainted with the J.P. McCaskey High School Campus- its programs, policies, and regulations. We encourage you to inquire when you have suggestions or questions about our policies by contacting the main office at either high school building.

McCaskey High School offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses that prepare students for the AP Examinations and the rigors of college. AP courses give students the opportunity to receive college credit and the chance to earn the AP Scholar’s Award and/or the AP Diploma.

Oct 23, 2024 · Lauren Snell has been the No. 1 singles player for McCaskey High School since she first joined the team as a freshman. Now a senior at the Lancaster, Pa., school, Snell is entering her third year as captain and last year was named a Lancaster Lebanon League All-Star.
