Demonstrations occurred across the United States on Saturday, June 14, as 'No Kings Day' protesters took aim at President Donald Trump's administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.

Organisers said hundreds of demonstrations were held in a day of defiance to counter a military parade hosted by Trump.

Anti-ICE demonstrations spread to several cities including New York, Boston and Chicago following days of unrest in Los Angeles

Protests in LA — which have inspired protests in other major cities across the country — have escalated in response to President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and ICE raids.

In Los Angeles, hundreds of protesters have now gathered by the federal building in downtown, where dozens of service members are standing guard with shields. Choruses of “Shame on you,” “Traitors” and “Marines out of LA” resound from the street.

LAPD said law enforcement arrested 38 people following the "No Kings" protests in downtown Saturday afternoon.

The demonstrations follow more than a week of large-scale protests in Los Angeles against Mr. Trump’s immigration crackdown and his decision to deploy the military there. Protesters gathered in Liberty Plaza outside of the Georgia State Capitol in Downtown Atlanta.
