Patience is wearing thin amid a battle for control of a museum honoring San Jose's Vietnamese community -- and both sides of the fight could end up losing.

SAN JOSE — Authorities are investigating a fatal hit and run that left one person dead in North San Jose early Saturday morning, police said. An unknown driver at about 1:50 a.m. hit a male pedestrian in the intersection of N. 1st Street and Technology Place, police said. The man died of his injuries at the scene, according to authorities.
