Robert Eggers and Willem Dafoe look to have found their next project to partner on as the Oscar-nominated actor is in talks to star opposite Aaron-Taylor Johnson in Eggers next film Werwulf at Focus Features.

Johnson, who starred in director Robert Eggers’ stylish vampire hit, is set to re-team with the filmmaker for his next film, “Werwulf.” Lily-Rose Depp, who led the 2024 gothic horror film, is also in talks to join the project.

In “Nosferatu,” Taylor-Johnson played Friedrich Harding, a wealthy shipbuilder who does not heed Thomas and Ellen Hutter’s warnings that their German town has fallen under the curse of the vampire Count Orlok until it is too late.
