Tristan Comer, a 2026 three-star offensive lineman from Freeland High School, committed to the Spartans on Monday night. That came just a few hours after they landed three-star wide receiver Zachary Washington from Illinois.

The Michigan State Spartans have offered many talented prospects in the 2027 recruiting class as they look to land some of the better recruits in the class, similar to what they are doing in the 2026 recruiting class as of late.

The Spartans sealed the deal with Zachary Washington, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver from Illinois, on his recent official visit to East Lansing.

The Spartans landed a second commit from the class on Monday, as in-state offensive tackle Tristan Comer announced on social media that he has committed to Michigan State. Comer's announcement follows the commitment of three-star wide receiver Zachary Washington.

Michigan State basketball offered a scholarship to Carlos Medlock Jr., a 2026 point guard prospect. Medlock Jr. recently transferred to Link Academy in Missouri and is a three-star recruit. Michigan State is the first Power Five conference school to offer Medlock Jr. a scholarship.
