New York Mayor Eric Adams said he will meet with Donald Trump on Friday to discuss New Yorkers’ priorities, the latest sign of cooperation between the embattled Democratic leader and the Republican president-elect who has long called the city home.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams said his meeting with President-elect Donald Trump on Friday went “well,” but declined to immediately talk about what they discussed.

Adams’ office said he had “made quite clear his willingness to work with President-elect Trump and his incoming administration on behalf of New Yorkers.”
