Texas and Florida will spend their Sunday closing out a weekend series at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. Florida (34-18, 12-14) opened its first-ever regular-season series against UT with Friday’s 8-2 victory. Texas (40-9, 20-6) then evened the score with a 5-2 win on Saturday.

The No. 1 Texas Longhorns (39-9, 19-6) were taken off the field in the bottom of the fifth inning of game two of their three-game series against the Florida Gators (34-17, 12-13) due to a weather delay with lightning in the area.

The top team in the country hasn't won a series in May after Florida took two of three games over No. 1 Texas in the weekend series. The Gators closed the series with a 4-1 win Sunday, with the previous results being 8-2 Gators on Friday and 5-2 Longhorns on Saturday.
