LAS VEGAS — The Celtics opened Las Vegas Summer League play with a 92-78 win over the Grizzlies on Friday. First-round pick Hugo Gonzalez tallied 12 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks, and third-year forward Jordan Walsh had 17 points. Center Charles Bassey, a late addition to the roster, added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Walsh got injured during the Celtics’ second Summer League game against the Miami Heat. After the game, Walsh described the sequence of events leading up to when he hurt himself.
