Manchester United need to sell more players this summer despite Marcus Rashford's imminent departure, sources have told Football Insider.

The forward was meant to spend his whole career at the local club where it began but this loan move to Barcelona makes sense on many levels

Marcus Rashford has already been introduced to the side of Barcelona which Gary Lineker described as “occasionally bonkers”.

Marcus Rashford has been warned he’s going to have a battle on his hands to make it into the Barcelona XI after he joins from Manchester United. The forward is set to arrive on a season-long loan but faces competition for a place in the line-up from Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Raphinha and Ferran Torres.

The idea has been agreed to by United and although it is not yet a done deal, talks between all parties are now at the final stages.
