Denis Law, Manchester United legend and twice a player for Manchester City, has passed away at the age of 84. The Scotland international was a British-record signing for both clubs at different points of the 1960s. It was at Old Trafford he would help win the greatest of trophies football has to offer whilst scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances.

Denis Law, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2021, died aged 84. Law is the only Scottish player to claim the Ballon d'Or and holds his country's scoring record. Law is commemorated in a statue at Old Trafford along with Bobby Charlton and George Best.
