The latest twist in the Kevin Durant sweepstakes seems to have the Timberwolves on the outside looking in as teams are assembling their best offers to entice the Suns to deal the 36-year-old former MVP.
Shams Charania of ESPN reported on Monday that Kevin Durant has “no desire” to be traded to the Timberwolves, but the Suns and Wolves are still hoping he’ll warm to the idea, league sources tell Sam Amick and Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

On Monday, ESPN confirmed that possibility, reporting that the Suns have focused on negotiations with three teams: the Rockets, Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves are obviously not one of the three teams on that list. According to Shams Charania, "Durant has no desire to be in Minnesota with the Timberwolves."
