The New York Knicks and head coach Tom Thibodeau will have another chance to close out their playoff series against the Boston Celtics on Friday night in Game 6. After getting blown out in Game 5 by a final score of 127-102, the Knicks will be back playing in front of the home crowd at Madison Square Garden.

Head coach Joe Mazzulla said Wednesday afternoon that Tatum, who is out for the foreseeable future after rupturing his right Achilles at the end of Game 4, sent a message to players and Celtics staffers with the team down 3-1 to the Knicks. When pressed on what Tatum actually said, Mazzulla seemingly bristled.

The Celtics were loud and boisterous while facing elimination and won in dominant fashion Wednesday. Now, they have the opportunity to even the Eastern Conference semifinals at three games apiece when they visit the Knicks on Friday night in New York.
