There are always a few names that leave you, and us, scratching our heads after being left out from the roster.
But Seiya Suzuki is having a monster season as well. He leads the majors with 77 RBI, and belted his 25th home run last night. Yes, DH is deep, and it is hard to argue against Ohtani or Schwarber, but Suzuki feels like a snub.
This would have been back-to-back All-Star nods for Sanchez, and deservedly so. He ranks seventh in the NL with a 2.68 ERA and has given up just seven home runs, his 0.62 home runs per nine ranking fifth. He’s also in the top 10 in strikeouts per nine innings.
The full MLB All-Star Game rosters have been released, but with certain big names injured on both the AL and NL sides, snubs like Philadelphia Phillies ace Cristopher Sanchez and Tampa Bay Rays infielder Junior Caminero still have a shot.

Soto signed the richest free agent contract in MLB history in the offseason and has slowly begun to prove his worth after a mediocre start to the season. The 26-year-old is hitting .267/.401/.514 with 21 home runs, 51 RBIs and a league-leading 72 walks.
