WTAP on MSNHistory in the ParkThe Civil War Round Table of the Mid-Ohio Valley is hosting its second annual History in the Park event. The event is July 12 from 10 am - 3pm at Muskingum Park in Marietta. It is completely free to the public.
"The Northern Wisconsin State Fair started in Chippewa Falls in 1897. That was kind of when this area of Wisconsin was still being settled and filled in." he said. Adding that the Chippewa County Agricultural Society wanted the fair easily accessible to farmers, loggers and civilians in this part of the state.
