With all due respect to TCU, the school got its mascot wrong. Their mascot is really a horned lizard, not a horned frog. But then, lots of us get it wrong.

On Monday night, the Horned Frogs will be playing for a national championship. TCU's odd nickname is just arriving on the national scene, but it's certainly not new to the school.
