President-elect Donald Trump has selected an Idaho businessman to be the Under Secretary of the Department of Agriculture. Boren founded "Clearwater Analytics," a Boise-based "Investment Accounting Software" company.

Under Donald Trump’s proposed tariff and immigration policies, Idaho’s dairy industry — the state’s largest agricultural sector — could face higher costs and trade disruptions.
