An 18-year-old student and gymnast has died after a tragic fall during a celebration of the Philadelphia Eagles' NFC Championship win. Tyler Sabapathy, of Toronto, Canada, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28 after sustaining head injuries in the accident on Sunday (Jan. 26).
A Toronto boys' school is mourning a former student who died after falling from a street pole in Philadelphia as fans celebrated the Eagles' victory in Sunday's NFC championship game.
Tyler Sabapathy was “authentically himself, gregarious and kind,” the East York Gymnastics Club said in a statement.
