Heather Whitestone McCallum, Miss America 1995, made sure to congratulate Birmingham’s Abbie Stockard this week after her win as Miss America 2025. Both women are Alabama natives, and both competed in the national pageant as Miss Alabama.

Abbie Stockard, Miss Alabama 2024, was crowned Miss America 2025 on Sunday night at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida. Stockard, 22, will receive a $50,000 in scholarship money as Miss America and immediately start a yearlong reign.
