According to police, a customer reported stopping by the Whataburger drive-thru in Newnan on January 31. The customer claimed Sumpter took his debit card and disappeared for several minutes before returning it.

The Whataburger customer noticed a $400 charge payable to the Coweta County State Court Probation Office, police said. He then contacted the court and police to report the unauthorized charge. Authorities later identified the Whataburger employee as the suspect, and the victim was able to pick her out of a photo line up, according to police.

Senoia Police are seeking the public's help in locating a woman accused of stealing debit card information from a customer from Senoia and using it to pay her own probation fines.

Senoia Police says 25-year-old Aleefah Sumpter of Newnan is wanted for felony identity theft and felony financial transaction card fraud.
