It appeared that Democrats would hold onto a majority on the Pierce County Council and with a Democrat county executive will have the upper hand in Pierce County government, according to early polling results Tuesday.

Fort Pierce ends election day without an elected city commissioner

Fort Pierce ends the night without a new city commissioner. None of the three candidates; Chris Dzadovsky, Jaimebeth Galinis, or Donna Benton acquired the 50% or more vote for the District 2 seat. Unofficial election results show each of the candidates were below the 50%.

Longtime Detroit radio host and TV anchor Warren Pierce has died at the age of 82. According to an online obituary, Pierce died on Oct. 31.

It's Election Day for voters in Fellsmere, Fort Pierce, Ocean Breeze and Vero Beach

It's Election Day across the Treasure Coast, and polls are now open in most of the communities holding municipal elections in Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties. Polls are open until 7 p.m. in Fellsmere, Fort Pierce and Vero Beach. Voters in the town of Ocean Breeze in Martin County can cast their ballots from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early election results are in for Puyallup City Council, other East Pierce races

Puyallup voters don’t directly vote for a mayor or deputy mayor. Instead, they elect a city council and the councilors take turns serving as mayor during two-year terms. If re-elected, Kastama and King will serve on the council in 2026, not in their current positions as mayor and deputy mayor.
