The Department of Homeland Security said a federal law enforcement officer shot a person in Minneapolis on Wednesday evening.

South Carolina authorities are investigating a law enforcement shootout that led to the death of a man believed to have fired multiple gunshots at a police officer.

Rochester Police say the third and final officer that was shot on Chili Avenue on Dec. 19 has been released from the hospital.

HPD officers pulled the man over at about 1:40 a.m. for a traffic violation in the block of 4700 Tidwell, HPD Assistant Chief Christy Smith said in a briefing posted on the department's X channel. During the traffic stop it was determined that the driver had a felony warrant.

That incident followed the fatal shooting of Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother, on Jan. 7. DHS officials said Good was allegedly attempting to run over law enforcement officers when an ICE officer fatally shot her -- a claim that local officials have disputed.

The ICE agent who killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis is set to become a millionaire after controversial fundraisers were set up for him. Good, a mother-of-three and a US citizen, was shot dead by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Jonathan ‘Jon’ Ross last week.
