NVIDIA revealed new info surrounding its upcoming RTX 5000 GPUs, including non-DLSS performance. NVIDIA had one of the biggest announcements out of CES 2025, revealing its new 50-series RTX graphics cards. The new GPUs came with some bold claims, including RTX 5070 performance that could match the RTX 4090's power for a fraction of the price.

Zotac's RTX 5090 Extreme Infinity graphics card is the first to be spotted sporting an official 600W TGP rating, up from the default 575W.

DLSS—or Deep Learning Super Sampling, to give it its full title—is Nvidia's upscaling technology used to deliver higher frame rates for our PC games (mostly because ray tracing sucked them down), and single-handedly kicked off the upscaling revolution that is now demanded of every single GPU and games console maker across the planet.

The four GPUs in the lineup include the RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and the RTX 5090. They start off at just $549 and go up to $1999. For now, there is no information on the cheaper RTX 5060 models, but they can be expected to be somewhere in the $350 to $400 range.

During the Nvidia Editor's Day at CES, the company gave attendees an early look at the architecture changes, AI optimizations, and performance expectations of the RTX 50-series GPUs. That's where DLSS 4 comes in.
