Four crew members of the International Space Station (ISS) are preparing for a medical evacuation on Wednesday after one of the astronauts suffered an undisclosed health issue. Nasa ’s SpaceX Crew-11 mission will return to Earth aboard a Dragon capsule at 5.05pm EST (10.05pm in the UK), several weeks ahead of schedule.

This week NASA announced a list of launch opportunities for Artemis II , the mission that will bring 4 astronauts including North Carolina's own Christina Koch. But how is each selected?

The launch is set to occur no earlier than 12:42 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission will be a Falcon 9 rocket sending the company's next batch of 29 Starlink internet satellites to orbit.

NASA could be sending a crew on the Orion spacecraft out past the moon in less than a month if everything falls into place. But first the agency has to get its rocket to the launch pad.
