Kansas Tourism leaders announced on Friday, Jan. 10, that they have released the 2025 Kansas Travel Guide, a comprehensive and free resource meant to inspire exploration of the Sunflower State.
Kansas Tourism has announced the release of the 2025 Kansas Travel Guide in both print and digital format.
“People have this misguided notion that the state is boring and bland and that’s so not true,” travel writer Roxie Yonkey says.
Lonely Planet, a publisher of tourist and travel guides, included Kansas City as a place to visit in 2024.
"This program is a wonderful opportunity for Kansas attractions to welcome families from across the state," Kansas Tourism Director Bridgette Jobe said in an April press release.
The visitor’s guide, produced in partnership with Kansas City’s tourism department, was a pamphlet featuring a comprehensive list of Black-owned businesses, Mason recalled.
