The Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute has continued to see a risk it took 25 years ago pay off, doubling its footprint and operations since opening its doors in January 2000.

The only dedicated orthopedic hospital in Kansas City, Kan., will open an urgent care clinic to treat bone and muscle injuries during evening and weekend hours, reports Kansas City Business Journal.
