While an aging church can’t be seen anymore at the corner in an East St. Louis neighborhood, a staple St. Louisan repurposed the life for the limestone that was torn down.

It was announced Wednesday that memorabilia of the world-renowned and St. Louis native Josephine Baker will be preserved right in her home city.
