When Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis makes his debut Saturday in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star weekend in San Francisco, the pressure will be a little different.

In what has long been the hallmark event of the NBA All-Star weekend, Chicago Bulls rookie and Chicago-area native Matas Buzelis will get the chance to showcase his skills in the 2025 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest.

NBA All-Star Saturday winds to a close at the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center with the 2025 Slam Dunk Contest as the final event of the evening.

This season, the NBA's All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest, as well as the Kia Skills Challenge and the Starry 3-point Contest, will air on TNT and truTV as part of All-Star Saturday Night. These channels are all available on platforms like DirecTV, Sling, and Hulu + Live TV, as well as on Max.

Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis has his sights set high in the Slam Dunk Contest at NBA All-Star Weekend, and the rookie will be looking to hoist the Dr. J Trophy on Saturday. Buzelis will be the fifth Bulls player to participate in the annual event and the first since Tyrus Thomas in 2007.

Six-foot-two Mac McClung is a phenomenal leaper and a creative dunker. He's also a G-League player with minimal NBA experience.

Buzelis has had some emphatic dunks this year, but Mac McClung will not be going down without a fight. He doesn't even play in the NBA, but his hops and his ability to dunk the basketball are unreal. If someone that isn't in the league gets invited and continues to win the contest, you know they are impressive.
