BYU Ballroom Dance hosted the U.S. National Amateur DanceSport Championships. The Marriott Center was packed with talent as dancers from across the nation competed from March 11-15.

BYU announced its annual faculty and staff awards and honors during the first day of the annual University Conference.

The BYU Ballroom Dance Company is preparing for it's international tour coming up in April that will make stops in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

BYU’s ballroom dancing program began to gain traction in the 1960s, and by the 1990s and early 2000s, it developed into teaching the specific training styles seen today, Holman said.
