French authorities say a fire engulfed the town hall of Paris’ 12th district, causing no casualties but severely damaging the bell tower of the 19th century building

The town hall in the 12th arrondissement of Paris caught fire on Monday night. The 98.4ft bell tower of the historic building is in danger of collapsing. The fire department was deployed with around 60 fire engines and 150 firefighters.
