The Aussie-set actioner ended its freshman season with JD Dempsey ( Todd Lasance) backed into a corner after his 9-year-old son was snatched. He agreed to free a prisoner in exchange, but at the meetup the kidnapper was killed and the escaping criminal implicated JD’s boss Colonel Rankin (Lewis Fitz-Gerald) in the abduction.
