The NFC West now officially has a team in the postseason. The Los Angeles Rams clinched a postseason berth with their 41-34 win over the Detroit Lions. However, their lead in the NFC West has not changed. They are still in first place in the division but have the same record as the second-place Seattle Seahawks.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 368 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with star wideout Puka Nacua nine times for 181 yards in the shootout victory. It was another ugly outing for the secondary as the season is officially on life support.

Detroit couldn’t score as the Rams held on to win 41-34. Detroit next returns home for its final home game of the regular season as the Lions host the Steelers on Dec. 21 at 4:25 p.m.
