Hyundai , Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors used the India auto show to unveil ambitious plans to expand their electric vehicle charging network to address the issues that are putting customers off making the switch.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, which announced its entry into India's EV market, said that the company will be exporting its Made in India EVs to over 100 countries in the world, Toshihiro Suzuki, Representative Director & President,

Suzuki Motor Corp. said that India will be the key export hub for its electric vehicles, hybrids, and small cars.

Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation plans to enter the electric small car segment in future after gathering experience from its first EV, SUV e VITARA which will make its global debut in India which will be the company's production hub,
