There could be a new member joining that classics club. A Christmas movie released this year currently scores 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, and I bet you've never seen it.
This year's most-watched Christmas movies are all old favorites, with "Elf" and "Home Alone" coming in second and third. "Champagne Problems" is top new film.

Elf has a more interesting story, about a human raised by Santa's elves in the North Pole who travels to New York to meet his biological father. Will Ferrell's shtick is sometimes wearing, but it works well here, and the film is full of jokes and festive imagery.
