Apple announced iOS 18 at WWDC 2024 and released iOS 17.6 more than a month later in July. That update was filled with more than 30 important bug fixes and security patches but no new features. Apple recommended that everyone download the update at the time and it was the last major iOS 17 update before the release of iOS 18 .

Apple TV+ has officially announced the release date of Loot Season 3, and it will be out on October 15, 2025. The 10-episode third season will roll out worldwide with the first two episodes ready on that day, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until December 10, as per Apple TV+.

Earlier this year, the Apple team working on the company’s artificial intelligence models wanted to release several of them as open-source software. Doing so would have shown Apple’s technical progress in AI while also harnessing the help of outside researchers to improve the models.
