Prime Video announced at GamesCom 2025 that Fallout Season 2 will premiere on December 17, 2025. Season 1 arrived in April 2024, making the gap between seasons a little more than 18 months. At a time when high-profile streaming shows can take years between releases, this is actually a pretty quick turnaround.

After a massive success, Fallout is returning for another season on Amazon Prime Video. But there’s one thing that seems to have caught the attention of the fans of the first season. Justin Theroux’s appearance in the Fallout Season 2 trailer has viewers wondering about his role in the show.

The second season releases its premiere on December 17th with weekly episodes to follow up until February 4th. “The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas,” the show’s description reads.

Now's not a bad time to catch up or rewatch Season 1, as Amazon has revealed Fallout Season 2 will premiere December 17. Unlike Season 1, which released all of its episodes on the same day, Season 2 will follow a traditional weekly schedule. Episodes will stream on Wednesdays, with the Season 2 finale slated for February 4.
