Ahmedabad Plane Crash Live Updates: 47 people who died in the Air India Ahmedabad-London plane crash were identified through DNA testing, while authorities handed over bodies of 25 victims to their families.

The Gujarat government will hold a state funeral for former CM Vijay Rupani in Rajkot on Monday, coinciding with a day of state mourning.

Three days after the crash, only 35 bodies had been handed over to relatives from an overall official death toll of 270.

Air India has confirmed that one passenger survived Thursday's airplane crash, which had 242 passengers and crew members on board.

An Air India plane crashed into a medical college in Ahmedabad, killing people on the ground and leaving a sole survivor on the flight. Authorities said 269 died.

Locals have also reportedly said that their homes are being invaded by strangers who have been pleading for access to terraces and windows to get one perfect picture of the crash site.

The committee is expected to focus on "formulating Standard Operating Procedures for preventing such occurrences in the future". A separate investigation is also being carried out by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), which is looking into the technical aspects of the crash.
